Sylexiad Serif
A selection of researched typefaces for adult dyslexic readers
Dyslexia
Sylexiad Serif was developed by Dr. Robert Hillier, a semi-retired senior lecturer at Norwich University of the Arts. The research involved the design and testing of a new typeface developed and informed from a dyslexic perspective against other typefaces recommended by dyslexia organisations. For the majority of those adult dyslexic readers tested, the evidence indicated a clear preference for the Sylexiad typefaces. You can read more about the work in the PhD A typeface for the adult dyslexic reader.
